Japan's sacred belief is a mess of borrows gods, syncretic practices, and plenty of wheels. And it takes a lot of time to decode and understand. This panel explores the notion of the Kami, those local beings that have led to Japan being called the Land of 1000 Gods, their origins, and their evolution through history. Also included- shrines, temples, festivals, and the experience of interacting with the mystical world in places of sacred power.
